Launched in 2014, the Aviation Industry Awards have become a benchmark for excellence for those demonstrating best practice and innovation in the aviation sector in Ireland. Over the last few years, the aviation industry in Ireland has shown amazing strength and resilience in the face of unparalleled challenges. And, following a hiatus, the event organisers have announced the return of the Aviation Industry Awards at this pivotal time to celebrate the world-class operators and individuals, who have kept the industry going during these trying times.
The winners will be announced at the gala awards on 30th November at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Santry. Entries must be submitted by 23rd August with the full shortlist being announced in early October. This year there are 27 categories spanning the breadth of the industry in Ireland including airlines, airports, training, MRO, education and more.
All entrants must submit a document of no more than 5 A4 pages that covers the key criteria set out for the category they are entering. All activities cited in support of entries must have been ongoing within the past 18 months unless stated otherwise in the criteria. The entering party has to have an office in the ROI or NI and the projects that support their entry have to have taken place in these areas unless stated otherwise in the criteria.
