Ireland West Airport Open New Café

Ireland West Airport continues to enhance its facilities with the new Slàinte Barista Café that has reopened its doors on the first floor of the terminal building.

The new Café is open to both passengers and the public and is a great space to relax, meet with colleagues or friends for business or leisure purposes or catch up on some work in the dedicated workstation area. The new area also provides for a trip down memory lane as you can watch the full documentary ‘A Wing and a Prayer’ and enjoy some wonderful memorabilia as they pay tribute to the late founder Monsignor James Horan.

This week An Taoiseach, Leo Varadkar, TD, visited the airport and took time to meet with management and staff at the newly opened Café. Shortly afterwards An Taoiseach flew on Learjet 45 ‘258’ from Ireland West to Jersey for a meeting of the British Irish Council.
