A breakfast fly-in was held at Weston Airport on Saturday 23rd July in aid of St. Vincent de Paul. While the weather was challenging and prevented many from flying in, pilots still made the trip by road and all 500 breakfasts were served. €21,000 was raised and donated to local St. Vincent de Paul conferences. The event coincided with the Bray Air Display so there were a number of show participants that made it to the fly-in including the Royal Jordanian Falcons, Rescue 116, an Air Corps EC135, the Irish Historic Flight, Eddie Goggins and the Catalina. Later in the afternoon, the Red Arrows completed a fly-past on their way to Baldonnel. Weston Airport has produced the video below with highlights from the event.
