AerCap (AerCap Holdings N.V), which has recently established its commercial centre in Dublin, a global leader in aircraft leasing, confirmed that it had leased, purchased and sold 132 aircraft in the Second Quarter (Q2) of 2015. 11 aircraft were purchased, including two Boeing 787-8s, one Boeing 787-9, seven Boeing 737-800s and one Airbus A350-900. AerCap also signed lease agreements for 103 aircraft as follows:-

During the same period, AerCap executed sale and part-out transactions for 18 aircraft, including: two Airbus A319-100s, one Airbus A320-200, two Airbus A321-200s, six Boeing 757-200s, one Boeing 767-300ER and two Boeing 787-8s from its owned portfolio, and one Airbus A320-200, one Boeing 737 classic and two Boeing 757-200s from the company’s managed portfolio.
It has also signed an agreement with Boeing for an order of 100 Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with deliveries starting in 2019 (as previously announced). In addition, it signed purchase and lease back agreements for four Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. It also signed financing transactions for $2.3 billion (around €2.09 billion) and now has one of the most attractive order books in the industry.
It has also been confirmed that Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), will dry lease three Boeing 777-200(ER)s from AerCap, following a tender process launched in May. The aircraft are expected to be ex Vietnam Airlines airframes (c/ns 32717, 32716, and 28688), which will be used to replace PIA’s existing Boeing 747-300 fleet. AerCap won the bid in spite of offers from California-based LLFC Corporation, which had put forward three Kenya Airways airframes, (c/ns 33683, 33682, and 33681) and Kenya Airways itself, which was trying to dispose of surplus Boeing 777-300(ER)s (c/ns 42097, 41819, and 41818). PIA is an established user of the Boeing 777 family and was the first airline in the world to operate all the three variants of the 777 family: 777-200LR, 777-200ER and 777-300ER. PIA was also the launch customer for 777-200LR and one of PIA’s aircraft holds the record for the longest commercial jet flight in aviation history.
With a portfolio consisting of approximately 1,730 aircraft as of 30th June that were either owned, managed, or under contract to purchase, AerCap serves over 200 customers in approximately 90 countries with comprehensive fleet solutions and provides part-out and engine leasing services through its subsidiary, AeroTurbine. AerCap is listed on the New York Stock Exchange (AER).
Although its commercial centre in Dublin, the company is headquartered in Amsterdam and has offices in Los Angeles, Shannon, Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Singapore, Shanghai, Abu Dhabi, Seattle, and Toulouse.
