The Ormand Flying Club based at Birr traditionally closes the flying season with one of their famous Breakfast Fly-Ins. This year’s event was held last Sunday 6th October and attracted 24 visiting aircraft. The event had been scheduled for 22nd September but a poor forecast forced its cancellation. The Follow Me Aircraft Marshallers were present to help on the Apron and one of them, Paddy Kilduff, very kindly provided the photos below from the day. Some additional photos also by Ian Thompson. While most of the flying events are now finished for the year, there are still plenty of aviation related events taking place around the country. Keep an eye on the FII Events page for more details.
