ILAS Harvest Fly-In

New Arrangements for the EIIF Summer Rally Fly-in

Having been unlucky with weather this June, we have decided to hold our Summer Rally Fly-in on the weekend we had previously flagged for the Harvest Breakfast Fly-in: so the Summer Rally Fly-in is now slated for 26th and 27th August. All of the other arrangements remain the same: Food and shelter, in the form of a marquee, will be provided.  People living in the immediate locality will be invited and usually like to attend, so this is our chance to show them what we do and make them welcome.

This year will feature a  spot-landing competition with a prize of a €50 voucher for the most accurate full-stop landing.  Announce your intention to participate and receive instructions from EIIF radio on approach.  If you are not happy with the first one, you can take off again for another go!

PPR required and available  from Aidan Power (Tel 087 676 5207) and An updated airfield information sheet is now available at this link and in the Downloads section. Further updates will be posted as comments to this post.

Our intention is to plan a replacement date for the Harvest Breakfast Fly-in later on towards the end of the flying season, and to announce it here and by email bulletin in due course.
