Airliner Experience – Volga-Dnepr Visit

A V I A T I O N – E V E N T…….. Unique OpportunityAirliner Experience has been granted permission by Russian cargo airline, Volga-Dnepr Airlines for a VIP Group Visit to the mighty Antonov An-124-100 ‘Ruslan’ and a new Boeing 747-8 Freighter for their new launch airline at the Farnborough Airshow July 2016.  

With this special permission the group of Aviation Enthusiast’s will visit the Trade Day event as guests of Volga-Dnepr Airlines and experience external & internal inspections of both cargo giants, meet pilots & loadmasters along with possible loading demonstrations for guests to watch the technical operation for themselves.

Also included is an afternoon flying show along with static aircraft from all the worlds leading manufacturers. Airbus A380, A350-1000, A400M, Bombardier CS300, Antonov An-178, Boeing C727, Embraer range, KC-390, Dornier, ATR, Bell Helicopters, Blackhawk, C-5 Galaxy, Boeing P-8 Poseidon, Lockheed Martin P-3, Sukhoi Superjet, Range of Fighters, Turboprops and Business Jets and of course Volga-Dnepr Antonov An-124-100 & Boeing 747-8 Freighter.

About the Author

Mark is an airline pilot flying the Boeing 737 for a major European airline. In addition he is also a Type Rating Instructor, Type Rating Examiner and Base Training Captain on the B737. Outside of commercial flying Mark enjoys flying light aircraft from the smallest 3 Axis microlights up to heavier singles. He is also an instructor and EASA Examiner on single engines and a UK CAA Examiner. He flies the Chipmunk for the Irish Historic Flight Foundation (IHFF). Mark became the Chairman of the National Microlight Association of Ireland (NMAI) in 2013 and has overseen a massive growth in the organisation. In this role he has worked at local and national levels. In 2015, Mark won ‘Upcoming Aviation Professional Award’ at the Aviation Industry Awards sponsored by the IAA. Mark launched this website back in 2002 while always managing the website, he has also been Editor and Deputy Editor of FlyingInIreland Magazine from 2005 to 2015.
