On the 11th December at 7.00 pm, Peter McGarry (author of Falling Stars), is giving a 40-minute talk and presentation “Il Volo Perduto” – or “The Lost Flight” at The Ennis Museum. The December talk is strictly on the Alitalia Flight 618 loss at Shannon in February 1960. The Alitalia talk is open to the public and entirely free of charge.
Journalist, colleague and co-writer Vincent Power will also give a brief update on the new follow book “Rising Stars” which has quite a heavy Pan American content and is designed to dove tail into the Pan American arrival into Shannon in late June 2025.
