Limerick Flying Club 75th Anniversary Fly-In

Start date: August 27, 2022
End date: August 28, 2022
Time: 12:00 pm
Location: Coonagh Airfield

After a five-year break caused by weather and subsequently COVID, LFC are delighted to announce a fly-in on 27/28 August. The timing is designed to celebrate 75 years since Coonagh Aerodrome was developed and opened by the Late Arthur Toppin in August 1947. He was a man of great vision and ambition for which the current occupiers are most grateful.

Limerick Flying Club are inviting current and past members to join them at some point over the weekend. There will be a function for members – past and present – to be held at Coonagh on the evening of 27th August. Further information on request.

Finally, the club would also like to extend an invitation to fellow aviators from around the country to drop by over the weekend to say “hello”. Please use the PPR facility on the Limerick Flying Club website to let them know you are visiting.
