WAI Ireland Chapter Brings Women in Aviation Together for Networking Evening

The Women in Aviation International (WAI) Ireland Chapter recently brought together women from across the aviation and aerospace community for an enjoyable evening of networking, conversation and connection.

Made possible by the sponsorship of Aero Inspection International, the event provided an opportunity for members and guests to step away from the day-to-day demands of their roles and meet others working across the industry. With aviation represented across a wide range of sectors, the evening highlighted the breadth of opportunities available to women throughout the industry.

WAI membership offers access to scholarships, members’ outings such as a day in a flight simulator with SimTech Aviation, WAI On-Air podcast, GIAD, and a mentor/mentee programme. Events such as these are an important part of the WAI Ireland Chapter’s work to connect women across the industry, encourage professional development and inspire the next generation of aviation professionals.

The Chapter looks forward to welcoming members and new faces at future events as it continues to grow its network across Ireland. Membership is available at www.wai.org
