VP Racing Fuels has announced the acquisition of PRO ENERGY FUEL LIMITED, establishing the company’s European headquarters in Sligo and significantly expanding its presence in the aviation and motorsport fuel markets across Europe.
The acquisition brings PRO ENERGY’s existing operations in Poland and the Netherlands into the VP Racing network and creates a European distribution platform serving aviation, motorsport and performance fuel customers throughout the continent.
For the aviation sector, the move strengthens VP Racing’s capability to supply AvGas across Europe. The company said PRO ENERGY’s infrastructure will support wider fuel availability while VP Racing continues development of its unleaded aviation fuel in partnership with LyondellBasell. The fuel has already undergone extensive testing and is progressing through certification processes.
Alan Cerwick, President and CEO of VP Racing Fuels, described the acquisition as providing “a true operational foundation in continental Europe” and said it would enhance support for motorsports, aviation and consumer fuel markets.
PRO ENERGY founder and CEO Kamil Skorupski said the combined organisation would be well positioned to support both current market needs and future fue innovations. The announcement further strengthens Ireland’s position as a base for aviation-related businesses serving the European market.
