As someone who is proud to be part of the aviation community in Ireland, I wanted to share some really good news and to say a genuine thank you to you for your support for a great aviation initiative. Marian Carter and the team in the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul in Birr have asked us to pass on their sincere thanks for the extraordinary generosity shown through our aviation fundraiser.
We want to thank our sponsors and especially the pilots, the photographers, and everyone who helped operationally behind the scenes, from planning and access to safety and logistics, your time, skill and goodwill made all the difference.
This most recent campaign raised in excess of €60,000, bringing the total raised over the years to €602,240 – a simply remarkable achievement and a very positive reflection on the aviation community in Ireland. We look forward to seeing many of you in 2026, a special year as Aer Lingus celebrates its 90th anniversary.
