Kerry Airport has commenced a major development of its departures and arrivals areas. Passenger numbers have soared since 2022 and they are redeveloping to ensure that everyone who travels through Kerry Airport has a comfortable and positive experience. The new departures hall will be almost three times bigger than the existing space and will contain a new bar, restaurant and smoking area. Phase one will be completed by March next year with all construction work completed by July 2025.
By completing the bulk of the work over the winter period, the airport aims to minimise disruption to passengers but inevitably there will be some disruption. During the works, passengers are advised to:
- Arrive in plenty of time before your flight to ensure a smooth check-in and passage through Security.
- Use the Long Term Carpark as space in the Short Term Carpark will be limited for the duration of the build.
- Drop off and pick up passengers from the Long Term Carpark.
- Adhere to the Liquids, Aerosols and Gels (LAGs) Rules that are clearly displayed throughout Kerry Airport.
- Have your travel documents ready for inspection to allow for an efficient transition to the Departures Hall and the boarding of your flight
