Tweet Picks:

@CAPA_Aviation Air France will suspend its Paris CDG-Abu Dhabi service from 26/27 October 2024 due to a flight schedule modification. The daily route, which remains served by Etihad Airways, has been a vital connection between Paris and Abu Dhabi.

@CAPA_Aviation European airlines are nearing 2019 capacity levels, with 36.8M seats offered for the week ending 09-Sep-2024. However, 851K seats have been cut, and further declines are likely as we shift to Winter schedules.

@CAPA_Aviation Japan’s top airlines, ANA and JAL, are set to expand their winter schedules, riding high on a surge in inbound travel. With new routes to Europe and increased flights across Asia-Pacific, they’re aiming to capitalise on strong demand.

@CAPA_Aviation International tourism reached 96% of pre-pandemic levels by July 2024, led by strong demand in Europe and the reopening of Asia-Pacific. Around 790M tourists travelled in the first seven months, up 11% from 2023 and just 4% below 2019.
