Dublin-based Griffin Global Asset Management has announced the purchase of two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft on long-term lease to Aeromexico. The transactions were completed in March 2023. Griffin is a commercial aircraft leasing and alternative asset management business with offices in Dublin, Puerto Rico, and Los Angeles, CA. Griffin’s team of aviation professionals works closely with airlines, OEMs, and financiers to deliver customized fleet solutions and innovative financing products to airlines globally. Aeromexico is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance and operates a fleet of 110 aircraft serving 89 destinations.
Commenting on the deal, the Vice President of Marketing at Griffin, Michael Lombardi said, “We are excited for this new partnership with Aeromexico and look forward to working alongside the Aeromexico team as they continue along their ambitious fleet renewal program over the coming years. These two aircraft form part of Aeromexico’s growing MAX fleet and its commitment to sustainable travel.”
