Meet Ryanair and the Irish Air Corps at Pilot Careers Live This Saturday

Anyone considering a career in aviation should make their way to the Pilot Careers Live Ireland 2026 event at the The Convention Centre Dublin this Saturday, 17 October. Running from 10:00am to 4:00pm, the event brings together airlines, flight training organisations, aviation universities and industry experts for one of the largest pilot career events in Ireland.

Whether you’re a secondary school student exploring future career options, a university graduate considering a change in direction, or a private pilot thinking about taking the next step towards a professional licence, Pilot Careers Live offers a unique opportunity to meet the people and organisations that can help turn those ambitions into reality.

Among the organisations attending this year’s event are Ryanair and the Irish Air Corps, giving visitors the chance to learn more about both civilian airline careers and military aviation pathways. Attendees will be able to speak directly with recruiters, training organisations and pilots, while a full programme of seminars will cover topics such as training costs, airline recruitment, aptitude testing, medical requirements and career prospects.

Aviation retailer and training advisory service Pilot.ie will also be exhibiting throughout the day. Visitors are encouraged to stop by the stand to browse a range of pilot equipment and accessories while also taking advantage of independent flight training advice. For those trying to navigate the often-confusing world of flight schools, licences, financing options and training pathways, the Pilot.ie team can provide practical guidance based on extensive experience working with student pilots and aviation professionals.

As well as discussing headsets, flight bags, charts, kneeboards and other pilot essentials, the team can help prospective pilots better understand what equipment is genuinely worth investing in during the early stages of training and what can wait until later. For many aspiring pilots, that independent advice can prove just as valuable as the equipment itself.

Pilot Careers Live has built a reputation as one of Europe’s leading independent pilot career events, providing visitors with the opportunity to compare training providers side-by-side and gain first-hand insights into the realities of a professional flying career.
