X-Air 582 EI-HRT was pictured recently by Frank Grealish at the Galway Fly-In.
Robin R2160 has been on and off the register a number of times in the last few decades. Originally registered as EI-BMO, it spent many years based in Weston as G-SBMO in the same colours. It now sports a smart green white and red colour scheme and during it’s last stint on the register it was based in Navan. Malcolm Nason.

For almost three decades Cessna 172 EI-COT was based in Abbeyshrule and operated for Aero Club 2000. Since the club has now closed, the aircraft has been sold to the Netherlands where it’s new identity is PH-ACZ. Alan Dwyer.
Bombardier CL600 EI-FPW is one of three of the type operated by Cityjet that was cancelled in June. EI-FPP and EI-FPW (pictured) have gone to the US as N642NN and N648NN respectively to operate for PSA Airlines. The third one, EI-GEB, has been scrapped. Alan Dwyer.

Mark is an airline pilot flying the Boeing 737 for a major European airline. In addition he is also a Type Rating Instructor, Type Rating Examiner and Base Training Captain on the B737. Outside of commercial flying Mark enjoys flying light aircraft from the smallest 3 Axis microlights up to heavier singles. He is also an instructor and EASA Examiner on single engines and a UK CAA Examiner. He flies the Chipmunk for the Irish Historic Flight Foundation (IHFF). Mark became the Chairman of the National Microlight Association of Ireland (NMAI) in 2013 and has overseen a massive growth in the organisation. In this role he has worked at local and national levels. In 2015, Mark won ‘Upcoming Aviation Professional Award’ at the Aviation Industry Awards sponsored by the IAA. Mark launched this website back in 2002 while always managing the website, he has also been Editor and Deputy Editor of FlyingInIreland Magazine from 2005 to 2015.
