easyJet Announces New Route from Belfast International

easyJet has announced the launch of a new winter route from Belfast International Airport to Aberdeen International Airport. Flights will take off for the first time on January 4th, 2027 and will operate twice weekly on Mondays and Fridays. The new route further strengthens easyJet’s UK domestic network, offering customers more choice when travelling between Northern Ireland and Scotland, whether for business or leisure. Travellers wishing to explore more of Scotland this winter will find that Aberdeen offers the perfect mix of vibrant city life and natural beauty, from museums, art galleries, and nature trails to designer shopping and whiskey tasting experiences. easyJet is the largest airline in Northern Ireland and serves three airports, offering over 50 routes across Europe and North Africa.

Commenting on the new route announcement, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, Kevin Doyle, said, ”We are delighted to be launching our new route and package holidays between Belfast International and Aberdeen this winter, giving customers even greater choice and convenient access to the heart of Scotland’s north east, a region famed for its rich maritime history, striking castles and coastal scenery. The route further strengthens domestic connectivity between Northern Ireland and Scotland, and we look forward to welcoming customers on board.”

Also commenting on easyJet’s new route to Aberdeen, Belfast International Airport’s Chief Executive, Dan Owens, said, “Aberdeen is a fantastic new addition to easyJet’s already extensive route offering from Belfast International Airport, and we are delighted with this announcement. Not only will this bring further investment and job creation, but crucially it will increase connectivity for local people, providing direct flights for the many leisure travellers, students, and businesses who we anticipate will use this route. As Northern Ireland’s largest airport, we are proud to partner with easyJet on all its routes as we continue with our £100m upgrade of Belfast International Airport, modernising the terminal to the highest international standards to improve the passenger experience for all.”
