Aircraft Register Update January 2026

Main photo: EI-IRW is a 1980 Beechcraft 200 Super King Air with a long corporate history in the U.S. before entering service in the UK in 2019. There, it operated with 2Excel Aviation and UK Maritime & Coastguard Agency, performing surveillance, maritime patrol, and environmental monitoring missions across the UK and occasionally Europe. It has now joined 2Excel Aviation’s Irish subsidiary, Toexcel Ireland, to support the Irish Coast Guard along with Bristow Ireland. It’s based in Shannon along with its sister ship EI-IRF. National Flight Centre’s Beech 76 Duchess EI-EWC has been cancelled from the register, marking the last of the type to leave the country. Hundreds of pilots learned to fly on this aircraft and sister ship EI-BUN, during their time at NFC. Alan Dwyer.
Seven of the cancellations in January were part of a fleet reorganisation by Ryanair as they transferred aircraft to their Polish subsidiary Buzz. This included EI-ENC that has gone to the Polish register as SP-RNR. Alan Dwyer.
