Aer Lingus Announce Six New Routes for Summer 2026

Aer Lingus has announced five new European routes for Summer 2026 and one additional Transatlantic route to its network. The new European routes from Dublin will launch three new flights to Asturias in northern Spain, Montpellier in the south of France, and Oslo in Norway. The two other European new services will be from Cork to Nice, France, and Santiago de Compostela, Spain. In addition to the latest European routes, Aer Lingus will start a four-times-weekly service from Dublin to Pittsburgh in the US from the 25th of May. This will bring Aer Lingus’ transatlantic network to 24 routes.

Following the success of the seasonal Cork – Prague route, which started in late 2024, Aer Lingus has announced that this will become a year-round route and will continue with twice-weekly flights on Mondays and Thursdays.

Commenting on the addition of a new transatlantic route to the network, the Chief Customer Officer at Aer Lingus, Susanne Carberry, said, “We are particularly pleased to add Pittsburgh to our transatlantic network, having worked closely with partners in the region to make this a possibility. This route builds on our strong partnership with the Pittsburgh Steelers and further cements Aer Lingus’ position as a leading transatlantic carrier. Through its Dublin hub, Aer Lingus provides convenient connections that link Pittsburgh with over 30 destinations across Europe and the UK.”

And commenting on the Aer Lingus summer schedule announcement of new routes from Cork Airport, the Head of Aviation Business Development & Communications at Cork Airport, Tara Finn, said: “Christmas has come early for us here at Cork Airport as we announce two new routes for summer 2026 with our friends at Aer Lingus. Nice and Santiago de Compostela are two fantastic cities, and both open up the options for visitors to explore the wider regions surrounding them – whether that is the Côte d’Azur or Galicia. Prague is an amazing Christmas market and summer destination, and wonderful to see it going year-round. We are delighted to see Aer Lingus expanding and freshening its offering from Cork. They have a loyal customer base who will only travel Aer Lingus and insist on Cork, and these new routes will delight that loyal base and more.”
