SMBC Aviation Capital has announced the delivery of two Airbus A320NEO aircraft to Alia – Royal Jordanian Airlines. These aircraft are the first of a number of aircraft contracted for delivery to Royal Jordanian from SMBC Aviation Capital’s direct order with Airbus. Airbus A320NEO JY-RAL was delivered from the Airbus facility in Toulouse to Amman on Friday, departing at 20.30 for the almost four hour delivery flight.
Commenting on the delivery, the Head of Airline Marketing at SMBC Aviation Capital, Conor Stafford said, “We are pleased to deliver our first Airbus A320NEOs to Royal Jordanian. This marks the beginning of an important new relationship and demonstrates our commitment to supporting Royal Jordanian’s fleet renewal and expansion plans.
