Shannon Aviation Museum are delighted to be hosting Gerry Humphreys this summer in another exciting talk as part of their Aviator Insights Series. It takes place on 17th May at 2pm, entry is free but museum donations are welcome.
Humphreys is an experienced aviator with over 50 years and 15,000 hours of flying experience. His career so far has ranged from single-seat military fast jets in the RAF, through Formation Aerobatic displays, to a wide variety of roles flying over 100 different types of Corporate, survey and General Aviation aircraft. Today, he is a flight instructor and examiner at Atlantic Flight Training Academy in Cork. Gerry has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and built his own aircraft, which he flies from an airstrip at his home in Co. Limerick.
Gerry is active in the Flight Safety promotion area as Chairman of the General Aviation Safety Council of Ireland and runs regular Safety seminars for the Irish GA community.
