Two Fly-Ins Announced for Birr Airfield

Birr Airfield, operated by the Ormand Flying Club, has announced two fly-in events to take place in 2025. The first is the famous Birr Breakfast fly-in that takes place on Sunday 11th May. This event will be held in aid of cancer charities. The breakfast fly-in has been cancelled.

The second event will take place on Saturday 14th June and this will be in aid of St. Vincent de Paul. This event forms part of the Irish Aviation Fundraiser which to date has raised €504,600 for the charity. The most recent addition to the fund has been through the sale of the Irish Air Spectacular Book and Calendar over the Christmas and New Year period.

Both these events are expected to be very well attended.

If you’re planning on organising a flying event this year, please send us the details and we’ll add them to the FII Events List. Details can be sent to mark@flyinginireland.com
