Pilot.ie is very excited to announce the launch of its first own-brand product, designed by Pilot.ie Director Mark Dwyer.
Mark is an airline pilot flying the Boeing 737 for a major European airline. In addition, he is also a Type Rating Instructor, Type Rating Examiner and Base Training Captain on the B737. Outside of commercial flying, he is Head of Training at FunFly Aerosports and enjoys flying light aircraft from the smallest 3 Axis microlights up to heavier singles. He has recently become part owner of a Savannah float plane though he isn’t allowed to fly it as much as he would like. In 2015, Mark won the ‘Upcoming Aviation Professional Award’ at the Aviation Industry Awards, something he never lets those around him forget. Mark launched the Flying In Ireland website back in 2002. While managing the website, he was also editor and deputy editor of FlyingInIreland Magazine from 2005 to 2015.
The VFR flight log pad is ideal for flight training and private flying in visual meteorological conditions. This pad offers space for flight planning, radio frequencies and en-route notes. Designed specifically for flying in Ireland, it includes the frequencies for Shannon and Dublin Flight Information Service (FIS) and their associated Frequency Monitoring Codes (Listening Squawks). The top of the log pad also has space to record engine startup, takeoff, landing and engine shutdown times for easy transfer to your personal and/or aircraft logbook later.
To celebrate this momentous occasion Pilot.ie is giving away a free log pad with every order from their navigation equipment section including kneeboards, charts, CRPs and compasses.
