Another New US Destination for Aer Lingus

Aer Lingus is launching Europe’s first direct flights to Indianapolis, Indiana! Aer Lingus has announced a new route starting with four flights a week from Dublin on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. The first service will take off on the 3rd of May 2025, just in time for summer. The will be the 19th destination to be served by Aer Lingus in North America.

Nestled in the Midwest, Indianapolis is famous for sports. It’s home to the world’s biggest single-day sporting event, the Indianapolis 500. As well as that, fans also flock to the city for the Brickyard 400 or to cheer on the NFL team the Indianapolis Colts or the NBA’s Indiana Pacers. The littlest visitors love the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, the largest of its kind in the world, which boasts incredible exhibits on dinosaurs, space, and much more. There are also fantastic galleries, an incredible foodie scene, and plenty of outdoors adventures.

Commenting on the new route, the Indiana Governor, Eric J. Holcomb said, “Reopening a much needed and frequently requested transatlantic route to our dear friends in Ireland will once again open new opportunities for business and leisure alike. It’s important that Indiana always keep investing in itself, by letting the world know we’re open for business and not even the sky’s the limit to our cultivated connections.”
