First Breakfast Fly-Ins of the Season Announced

***Weston Airport Breakfast Fly-In Cancelled due to Operational Reasons***

2023 was a bad year for flying due to unseasonably bad weather, even by Irish standards! While some fly-ins went ahead, many were cancelled or had their attendance numbers severely impacted by poor weather. As we get into the 2024 flying season, let’s hope for a better year of weather. With that in mind, we’re happy to share the details of the first two breakfast fly-ins announced this year.

Birr Breakfast Fly-In – Saturday 13th April

This is usually a very well-attended event with all proceeds from the breakfast being donated to St. Vincent de Paul. Its central location usually means it attracts visitors from all over the country

Weston Airport Breakfast Fly-In – Saturday 3rd August

This event coincides with the Bray Air Display weekend and allows attendees to view some of the aircraft participating in the show. All proceeds from this event are also being donated to St. Vincent de Paul.

The Irish Air Spectacular Book and Calendar released just before Christmas, which is part of the Irish Aviation Fundraiser, achieved €41,300 for St. Vincent de Paul.
