Pilot.ie Product of the Week – Rogers Data UK VFR ICAO Charts

Between the shortage of daylight and the weather being storm after storm after storm at the moment, we know it’s really difficult to get any flying done at all this time of year. It’s frustrating but why not use this time to start planning a big overseas adventure?!

If you have never flown to another country the UK is a great place to start and the Rogers Data maps are a great starting point for planning your trip. We stock all three Rogers Great Britain aeronautical charts – Centre, North and South. Each chart is designed to the following criteria:

  • Scale of 1:500.000
  • According to ICAO Annex 4; EU Commission Regulation; AIP
  • Clear representation of the ATS airspace structure
  • Detailed highly sophisticated terrain map with shading and relief
  • Airports, aerodromes and heliports with additional information
  • Radio Navigation Aids with name, frequency and Morse code
  • Compulsory reporting points, reporting points on request, significant points (border crossing)
  • Danger- and restricted areas
  • Obstacles or group of obstacles
  • Minimum Grid Area Altitude
  • Isogonic line model with magnetic variation

This week we have 15% off each of the 3 individual charts and an incredible 25% if you buy all 3 together.
