Product of the week – Pooleys CB-3 Deluxe Organiser Kneeboard

This week the Pilot.ie product of the week is the Pooleys CB-3 Deluxe Organiser Kneeboard.

A kneeboard is an accessory with various types of clips or mounts to hold objects for pilots during flight. They come in a range of shapes and sizes, from metal clipboards to tri-fold kneeboards, each one is designed to hold objects for pilots in the air or even in a flight simulator. They are designed to make your time in the cockpit a little bit easier.

The CB-3 is a strong, rigid fold-over Pilots Kneeboard Organiser finished in a durable blue leather grain PVC with metal protective corners. Fitted with spring clip (top centre) for retention and use of Landing and Approach Plates, Frequency Lists and Log Pads. It includes a spring steel double expanding bracelet clip to hold chinagraph or lead pencils, or pens, a clear plastic flip-over protective cover on the front and inside, a diagonally cut pocket to hold a protractor, plotter, calculator etc., a reinforced eyelet for a stopwatch holder and a wide elasticated velcro fastening thigh strap. It also contains 6 plastic wallets to hold approach plates. There is printed silver lettering detailing a comprehensive useable Flight Log, Phonetic Alphabet, Morse Code, Semi-Circular rules, Mnemonic Position Report, Distress Message, Search and Rescue signals and selected Transponder Codes.
