Breakfast Fly-In at Weston Airport – 29th July

Dublin Weston Airport is hosting a Breakfast Fly-In on 29th July from 08-00-13.00. Numerous participants for the Bray Air Display will be on view and by purchasing a ticket you will be supporting the local St. Vincent DePaul charities as 100% of proceeds will be donated.

Weston Airport has also recently launched a new website www.westonairport.ie and tickets for the Fly-In are available there. The event is a ticket-only event. As well as including lots of useful information for visiting pilots, they have also produced a handy video (see below) that goes through the standard joining instructions – this is particularly useful for pilots who have never visited Weston before. Please note that PPR is mandatory for Weston, contact details are on the website.

The restaurant at Weston has reopened recently and is now operated by Hook & Ladder. The scaffolding has been removed from the airside part of the terminal building which now offers excellent views over the entire airport. It’s open from 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Saturday and from 09:30 – 17:00 on Sunday and food is served throughout the day.

Construction work on the terminal is still ongoing with a coffee shop being installed on the ground floor. This will have an outdoor seating area with views airside. Work is almost complete on the ops side as well with a new airside entrance, pilots lounge and executive lounge almost complete. Check out their social media accounts for up-to-date information on progress.
