Tweet Picks:

@HofmannAviation #CEOinterview with Johan Lundgren from @easyJet – European LCC easyJet believes it has the right fleet for the summer peak and has no plans to follow other carriers by wet-leasing additional aircraft.

@HofmannAviation Icelandair goes for Airbus A321XLR – A long time Boeing operator, @Icelandair decided to replace its 757 fleet with Airbus A321LRs and A321XLRs after a very detailed evaluation process.

@HofmannAviation The @aegeanairlines JV will initially operate four full-flight simulators, including two Airbus A320neos, one Boeing 737NG, and one ATR 72-600, as well as cabin crew training equipment. The facility will have space for three additional simulators.

@HofmannAviation Turkish Technic and @emirates , which operates the world’s largest @Boeing 777 fleet, have signed an agreement, to perform base maintenance services on five 777s from Emirates.

@MaxK_J The #A330neo reached the 100-deliveries mark in its sixth year. By comparison, the original A330/A340 passed 100 dels in year 3 (but didn’t have a pandemic to negotiate!), while A330ceo alone took around six years @cirium data.
