FunFly Aerosports Flying Club Fly-In – Clonbullogue – Sunday 5th March 2023
Please register here if you plan to attend to make sure we have enough breakfast for everyone!
FunFly Aerosports Flying Club Flying Club will host a breakfast fly-in next Sunday 5th March at Clonbullogue. All are welcome to join by air or by car. There is no parachuting planned by the Irish Parachute Club that day so the airspace around the aerodrome will be open to visiting aircraft. The event begins at 10:30 and will run for most of the day.
Overhead joins will be permitted on the day. The standard join will be from the Edenderry power station (northeast), Bracknagh village (south) or the Mount Lucas Wind Farm (northwest). QNH and runway in use will be available on Clonbullogue frequency 128.550. All movements will be at the pilot’s discretion. There is a taxiway that runs north of the runway that is available for use, caution when manoeuvring onto it and while taxiing on it due to uneven surface. FunFly Aerosports Flying Club will continue to operate throughout the day so expect flight training activity including circuits.
