@WandrMe Air Europa has applied to operate MIA-MAD with the Kuwait Airways code. Kuwait Airways intends to sell KWI-MIA via MAD, with half served on KU metal and half on UX metal. Possibly expanding to other destinations in the US as well.

@WandrMe The US has Open Skies agreements with both Spain (EU) and Kuwait. Both airlines already have permission to fly to the US. There’s no (reasonable) reason this won’t get approved.

@WandrMe Good news for @embraer and @porterairlines as the E2 family of jets received type certification in Canada this week. The carrier expects to take delivery of its first E195-E2 in the coming days as part of a massive expansion and transition plan.  #AvGeek.

@WandrMe IAI shared some details today on how employees will be cared of on its 777-300ERSF Freighter conversions. The company applied for FAA approval on two design options, either 9 Y seats or 4 PremY in the Supernumerary Compartment between the flight deck and the cargo.  #AvGeek.

@WandrMe .@SpiritAirlines is headed to the Lowcountry, with daily flights launching in April 2023 from  @iflyCHS to EWR/FLL/PHL. CHS has served as the main growth hub for Breeze since its launch, with 20 destinations (7 served daily) by next April.
