Tweet Picks:

@ByERussell LATEST: @Delta quietly introduced its first of 33 used 737-900ERs earlier in November. The planes will “support” the airline’s operations as the pilot shortage limits regional capacity, and despite the 737s lacking some amenities, like wi-fi. #paxex.

@RunwayGirl Hydrogen propulsion will help Airbus deliver ZEROe aircraft by 2035. Path must be decided—including whether to burn hydrogen or use in fuel cell—by 2028, says Faury. Difficult bit is having reg framework for flying/transporting.

@SeanM1997 In the Summer 2023, SAS will transfer the evening departure between Copenhagen and Newark to a regional airport in Scandinavia – specifically looking at Western Denmark, Gothenburg or the west coast of Norway. This is partly due to SAS launching CPH-JFK.

@winglets747 Anonymous BA source told the Telegraph: “Our growth will be at Gatwick rather than Heathrow for now.” Looking aside Heathrow never being a high-growth opportunity, will be interesting how BA tries to do an airport bake-off while preserving Heathrow slots.

@winglets747 JetBlue and Norse are planning to enter the New York-Paris market, joining non-legacy French Bee. JetBlue and Norse plan daily flights. French Bee is daily in summer, otherwise 4/5/6 weekly. Sometimes no mid-week flights. Will be interesting how they perform & manage off-season.
