The Rush Airshow took place on Saturday 30th July off the coast of the seaside town as part of the Harbour Festival. Like the Bray Air Display last week the weather proved challenging but the organisers got a nice gap in the weather and the majority of the show went ahead as planned. The biggest challenge for the display acts was making it to Ballyboughal Airfield before the event. There was a nice mix of participants including Gerry Humphreys, Eddie Goggins, the Irish Historic Flight, Irish Coast Guard, Richard Goodwin, Breitling Wing Walkers, Team Raven, Irish Air Corps EC135 and the Garda Air Support Unit. Here is a selection of photos from the event. Photos by Frank Grealish.
