@ByERussell Frankfurt Airport is cutting aircraft movements, again this summer, this time to 88 an hour. Lufthansa Airline CEO Jens Ritter called the decision “right,” but emphasized that other airlines must bear their share of the burden now.

@ByERussell KLM is dropping one daily Amsterdam-Brussels flight — down to 3 daily from 4 — under a trial with high-speed rail operator Thalys. The airline is buying seats on Thalys trains under a previously announced partnership.

@David_Slotnick Airbus is announcing a direct carbon capture initiative, which it says it can scale as part of its net-zero goal. Up to 1 million tons per year from a facility to be built in Texas. Construction this year, completed by 2024.
