@simonasbartkus All the flights from the London area to Vilnius are sold-out out weeks in advance. The next available flight on @Ryanair is on the 4th of August, even though the airline is flying 2x a day on a route both from Stansted and Luton. Crazy times.

@simonasbartkus .@airBaltic to start a new route from @riga_airport hub to Marrakesh starting October 31st at 2x weekly frequencies. I expect it is a seasonal winter-only route together with Dubai and Tenerife.

@simonasbartkus When someone asks me why there are no direct flights from Vilnius to the USA, I say: look at Berlin, there are 6M people and only 1 daily @united  767 rotation from Newark.  Now @flynorse decided to put a bet on Berlin. I can smell cash burning in @berlinairport.

@simonasbartkus The tour operator ITAKA plans to start direct flights from Vilnius to Zanzibar in December 2022. The operating airline and aircraft are not announced.

@WandrMe This is incredible. @Icelandair  sending baggage handlers as pax to AMS. On the turn they help unload/load the plane. Then they fly back to KEF. Raises questions about ramp access and labour rules/unions, but good for the airline and pax.
