New easyjet Route from Belfast City

easyjet has announced a new route between Bristol and George Best Belfast City Airport beginning in September. The route will be flown three times weekly with afternoon departures on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. The new route will now bring three services by easyjet operating from Belfast City Airport alongside the daily London Gatwick service and the soon to start service to Liverpool.

Commenting on the announcement of the new route, the Chief Executive at Belfast City Airport, Matthew Hall said, “easyJet was warmly welcomed to Belfast City Airport last July with its service to London Gatwick. This route has proved extremely popular and we are thrilled our partnership with easyJet will be further strengthened by the addition of a three times weekly service to Bristol from the 7th of September. The airline will also commence flights to Liverpool on the 1st of July taking the total number of UK destinations to which passengers can fly to from Belfast City Airport to 19. With 12 daily flights to London, this is considerably more domestic connectivity than any other airport in Northern Ireland. As air travel returns, we are very pleased our passengers can continue to benefit from the speed and proximity offered by Belfast City Airport, located just a five minute drive from the city centre, and with average security processing times of six minutes.”
