@juliejohnsson Boeing won’t launch a new jetliner any time soon to address Airbus’s sales lead in the narrow-body market. Its digital toolset won’t be `tested and mature’ for at least another two years, CEO Dave Calhoun said.

@lesliejosephs FAA is adding staff at Jacksonville Center “immediately” and is working on playbook to address congestion. Florida has been a tourism hotspot and airlines responded by massive capacity increases, some to above 2019 levels.

@lesliejosephs United expects to fly 14% less in Q2 vs. 2019 but expects revenue per seat mile to be UP as much as **25%** from 2019, better than pvs forecast of up 17%. Translation: pricier tickets. $UAL.

@lesliejosephs Retail suffering comes during a consumer spending shift. New Adobe data show consumers spent $4B on domestic flights on airline sites in 1H of May, up 5% from 2H of April. Vs 2019 spend is up 24% and bookings up 3%.

@SeanM1997 NiceAir have removed all flights from Akureyri to London Stansted & Akureyri to Manchester from sale. This is due to licensing issues in the UK which Nice Air is still receiving explanations for.
