Eurocontrol Aviation StraightTalk Live with Dómhnal Slattery, CEO Avolon

European aviation at the crossroads: From COVID-19 to war in Ukraine – and beyond.

The positive evolution of the pandemic has seen restrictions starting to be removed across Europe and beyond, but the traffic recovery remains fragile, with the aggression launched by Vladimir Putin against Ukraine triggering oil price spikes, airspace closures and massive uncertainty.

Eurocontrol Aviation StraightTalk aims to provide answers in uncertain times from aviation leaders, who will be analysing today’s problems and tomorrow’s solutions as our sector struggles to build back better, and more sustainably, after two immensely difficult pandemic years.

In this episode, Dómhnal Slattery, Avolon CEO, will be interviewed by Andrew Charlton, journalist and Aviation Advocacy MD, preceded by a short market update by Eamonn Brennan, Eurocontrol Director General.
