FlyBe Announce New Belfast Routes

FlyBe has announced twelve routes from George Best Belfast City Airport with the first services to start on 13th April with flights to Birmingham and Glasgow. These destinations will be served up to four times daily. Routes to Leeds/Bradford Airport and London Heathrow will start on 28th April with a daily service to Amsterdam starting in late May. Edinburgh will be added as a destination in June followed in July with new services to East Midlands, Southampton and Manchester. The newly formed airline will add Inverness, Aberdeen and Newcastle to its list of destinations from Belfast City Airport in August. The sale of seats for the new routes has started on the airline’s website www.flybe.com

The announcement comes as the new Flybe reveals its full route network which will see the airline fly up to 530 flights per week across 23 routes, with more to be announced in the months ahead. The new routes from Belfast City Airport will see the airline enter competition on almost all routes with only the service to East Midlands being the only one not directly served by a competitor.
