GFTS New Office at Marco Island Executive Airport

This new location will be Global Flight Training Solutions (GFTS) second office in Collier County. The company plans to continue providing area residents, personal and commercial use high-quality flight training. Whether it’s discovery flights, Private pilot training, or full commercial licensing, GFTS offers a professional aviation experience. The school’s flight training outreach also focuses on the training of European airline student pilots. Through GFTS partner Airlines, EU student pilots can flight train in South West Florida’s great weather. The EU students boost the local economy while continuing their flight training in Collier county. From the success of the Immokalee office, GFTS sees a considerable benefit in local US student pilots mixing with European student pilots. GFTS plans to pre-empt the impending pilot shortage by bridging the gap across the Atlantic with experienced pilots from both jurisdictions.

The school has three Cessna 172 Models (2 S models) with access to more. It’s currently offering attractive hour-building packages for International students looking to complete their qualifications in Florida quickly. The Cessna models are popular with local renters. Attractive pricing allows renters the freedom to enjoy their flight experience, and with no added taxi times compared to busy airports, pilots can pack more flying in their schedule.

For its European students, GFTS offers Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) commercial integrated courses for certification of pilots, flight instructors, ground instructors, and conversion to European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) accreditation.

Leading figures in the Airline Industry fully mentor the European and American Commercial pilot program. It gives the students the ability to qualify in their timeframe, without the penalties or extra costs usually associated with integrated programs. The school can also provide flight training without ancillary landing and takeoff fees or fuel surcharges. In contrast, the unique environment around Immokalee Airport and Marco Island training centres allows for no restrictions to training and immediate access to the training area without the need for costly and time-consuming flights.

GFTS also gives pilots credit for previous licenses or hours held and will provide students with one complete flight school report detailing their performance throughout the entire program to help prepare them for the Airline interview process. For more information visit or contact them at
