Polish Wings Over Northern Ireland – Rescheduled

The visit of the Spitfire in the Second World War Polish No 303 Squadron markings to Northern Ireland is taking place this weekend following the postponement in August. Unfortunately, the Hawker Hurricane will not be making the trip to Northern Ireland this weekend. The Spitfire did however arrive during the week and is currently on display at the Newtownards Airfield. The Spitfire will depart at 12.15 making a flypast over numerous points in the Belfast area before landing at Aldergrove at 12.30. It will depart again at 14.30 with more flypasts and arriving back at Newtownards before 3.00 pm. The full route and timings are below. All timings are approximate and may change due to weather or aircraft serviceability.
