Aer Cap Delivers A321neo to Loong Air
The Irish leasing company, Aer Cap has delivered the first of eight new Airbus A321neo’s on lease to Zhejiang Loong Air. It’s the first aircraft of its type to enter Loong Air’s fleet and is equipped with 8 business class and 202 economy seats. The rest of the order is due in the coming months and into 2022.
Zhejiang Loong Airlines is a domestic Chinese airline based in Hangzhou. Approved by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, it started services in December 2013. The airline currently has a fleet of over 50 Airbus A320’and three Boeing 737-300’s. The first aircraft, B-323U (c/n 10428), made its first flight on 3rd August and was delivered from the Airbus facilities in Hamburg on 13th August to Hangzhou in China via Novosibirsk in Russia. The aircraft is expected to enter service in the coming days on routes to Beijing and Guangzhou. The airline has a long term plan to operate international services to Japan, South Korea and other countries in South East Asia.
