Irish Air Traffic Down Over 60% in February

The IAA monthly report shows that air traffic was down 60% last year during February. The IAA handled a total of 62,433 flights during the month, a decrease of 60.6% in 2020 and that shows a similar fall on the 2019 figure. The terminal movements at the three main airports in the country, Dublin, Cork and Shannon, was down a total of 72.3% last year to just 11,915. The biggest percentage drop of the year was the number of commercial flights at Cork Airport which dropped a massive 96.2% to just 104 flights for the month. This coincided with KLM pulling their service for most of the month.
