Tweet Picks:

@CNBCTV18Live #JustIn | Jet Fuel prices cut by 17%, i.e. Rs 6,133 to Rs 29,357.37/kL, in Delhi.

@e_russell Delta CEO Ed Bastian provides more details of the airline’s deal with the U.S. Treasury, in exchange for $5.4bn in payroll support the airline will grant the gov’t a warrant equal to a 1% stake at $24.39/share over five years. $DAL.

@krisvancleave Airlines agree to Treasury’s terms on the Payroll Grants. Will repay 30% via 10yr low interest loans.  @AmericanAir  will get $5.8Bn, $1.7 bn is a loan.  @Delta  will get $5.4Bn. $1.6b is loan.  @JetBlue  $935.8M, $250.7M is a loan. @SouthwestAir  will get ~$3.2b, ~1b is a loan.

@lukaspkaestner Big if true: Lufthansa would like to switch at least some #777X orders to #777F, reports German portal  @aerode . This would put the already strained 777X backlog under even more stress. #aviation.

@TheSanjivKapoor Back in 2006, I was an aviation consultant. We met with Jet senior management that summer in Mumbai to discuss the emerging threat of LCCs and the then unheard-of Indigo’s bold 100 aircraft order. Jet was convinced they would be no threat. The rest, as they say, is history.
