The team at Limetree Airfield have recently open their brand new clubhouse. This fantastic new facility is over twice the size of the previous clubhouse and contains a full kitchen, wheelchair accessible toilet and bedroom. The front door opens up onto a seating area that overlooks the main parking area. This is usually packed at weekends with many of the 30+ aircraft based there and plenty of visitors from other airfields.
Limetree is located just outside Emo, Co. Laois about three nautical miles south of Portarlington and five nautical miles north or Portlaoise. Visitors are welcome by air and road. The grass runway is 402m orientated 01/19, and although a little short, is suitable for most general aviation aircraft.
