Tweet Picks:
@airportnewsMAN *news* @VirginAtlantic enters a bid for the long haul operation of @TCAirlinesUK. Given the primary focus of Thomas Cook long haul is @manairport, this would be an amazing outcome for Manchester, combined with Flybe/Virgin Connect, it would give Virgin a viable hub.
@CaptShaktiLumba Most engine have  temp rating limitations can varying  from ISA+35-l to ISA +45. When Delhi temp is 47C B737 can’t takeoff but A320 CEOs can. Max temp beyond which no a/c csn take off is +50C. No airport reports above 50C although RWY Temo does exceed in GCC. Been there.
@embraer The #Embraer #Praetor600 completed a historical non-stop flight from São Paulo to Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This jet is the only super-midsize that can complete this mission. #EmbraerStories.
@GLA_Airport Looking forward to welcoming @airtransat’s new Airbus A321neoLR when it starts twice weekly services from Glasgow to Toronto this October. The A321neoLR uses 15% less fuel than previous generation Airbus aircraft, as well as generating 50% less noise.
@photoJDL .@BBD_Aircraft’s CRJ series first flew 28 years ago today, in ’91. The regional jet, along with a re-engined -200 version, sold like hot cakes, with just over 1,000 frames built before production ended in ’06. Their popularity has waned since, but many still fly today. #avgeek.
