Tweet Picks:
@crankyflier It looks like @AmericanAir no longer differentiates between legacy US A321s (321) and legacy AA ones (32B) publicly.  Now they all show as 321 except for the A321T transcon airplane which is 32B. (And the 321neo is 32Q)
@e_russell LATEST: United says it needs 30-40 mid-market aircraft to replace 757s and 767s in the next decade, options include the NMA, 787 and A321XLR.
@WandrMe “Delta built an airline called Song to put us out of business…it failed.” Consolidation: 81% of the market is controlled by the big 4; we’re a 5% player. That changes everything.
@WandrMe JetBlue has saved customers more than $12 billion since it launched. – A bold claim vis a vis fare drops as JetBlue enters markets.
@WandrMe “We have to talk about how do you succeed as a 5% player. We are the only airline that has not merged or gone bankrupt since deregulation in 1978….we’ve thrived in this industry. We’ve forced the competition to raise their game….we need to take it to that next level.”
