Aircraft Register Update January 2017

Photo above: Former SkyNet Airlines Boeing 737-4YO EI-CZK has been cancelled to the USA. This aircraft operated for SkyNet from December 2002 until the airline ceased operations in May 2004. It then went on to operate for Transaero until they ceased operations in December 2015. Alan Dwyer.

Boeing have removed the customer code from their aircraft. So Ryanair aircraft are now known as 737-800 instead of 737-8AS. Ryanair took delivery of seven Boeing 737-800’s in January. EI-FTP is seen here arriving in Dublin on its delivery flight on 1st February. Brendan O’Moore.

Former Transaero Boeing 737-86N EI-RUG has now been registered to Magnetic MRO AG of Tallinn. It is unusual in that generally EI- registered aircraft registered to Irish addresses and Irish companies. Alan Dwyer.

Although not listed in this report, under Irish Company law changes many Irish companies have had to change their name. This month, CHC Ireland changed to a Designated Activity Company (DAC) which generated a name change for all of their aircraft including this one, EI-ICD. Alan Dwyer.

Boeing 737 EI-FJD appears on the register changes this month as Norwegian Air International have changed their address to Dublin Airport. Alan Dwyer.
